Dhading, January 15 Former prime minister and Co-Chair of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the constitution can always be amended as per the need of time and public demand. “It’s true that the (nation’s) charter is not fully inclusive, yet I am unable to make a difference on my own. But I give you my word here today that I’ll keep raising the issues of ethnic and cultural identity in the party, the government and the Parliament,” said Dahal, addressing Li: La: Lhosar of the Ghale community in Dhading district headquarters Dhadingbesi today. Today’s programme organised under Li: La Fung campaign had witnessed participation of more than 10,000 members of the Ghale community from 36 districts inside the country and 16 foreign countries, including India, Bhutan, the UK, US and UAE. Various cultural performances were presented on the occasion today, while cultural processions were also taken out. Various other leaders, including Province 3 Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Shalikram Jamakattel and federal MPs were also present at the programme.
