KATHMANDU: The Department of Mines and Geology has started a geological mapping of four districts prone to earthquake.

'A geological study is being carried out in Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan districts. Following the study, authorities would be able to pinpoint potential mines and construction requirements in the region,' said the Department's Spokesperson Krishna Dev Jha.
