Nepalgunj, April 4:

The March 31 bombing of an SLC centre at the Taratang-based Saraswati Secondary School in Dailekh has caused trauma among SLC examinees, a report prepared by a team of rights activists says.

While some examinees lost the hearing power, others fell unconscious and found it difficult to write, according to the report.

According to the report, 16 examinees and an invigilator were injured in the explosion. Of the injured examinees, Dev Kumari Oli, Goma BC and Hira Oli have been undergoing treatment at the District Hospital and thus won’t be able to sit for the exams. Dev Kumari and Goma are pregnant.

“Altogether 204 students could not give exams without fear due to the blast,” said the report prepared after meeting students, teachers, eyewitnesses and others.
