HETAUDA: Police have arrested three persons on charges of slaughtering cow, the national animal of the country, from Makwanpur district, on Tuesday. Makwanpur District Police Office identified the arrestees as Krishna Bahadur Gole (54), Bijaya Naysur (18) and Suvash Tupa (18) of Bakiya-12 in Makwanpur district. Police today paraded them at the District Police Office. Cow slaughter is punishable under the new constitution of Nepal.
