KATHMANDU: The 97th meeting of the board of directors of Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) has appointed Laxmi Prasad Das as the company’s chief executive officer for a tenure of three years with effect from Tuesday. Das has an experience of over 26 years in the life insurance sector. He started his career with Life Insurance Corporation of India in 1992 as an officer. Prior to his appointment in Nepal, Das was working as the senior divisional manager in LIC India’s division office in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
