MAHOTTARI: The Natural Disaster Rescue Committee has provided Rs 2,000 to each household of fire victims of Badhamaha VDC-6 of Mahottari district. At a gathering of the Local Fire Victims’ Ad hoc committee organised here on Thursday, VDC secretary Jayanandan Dube provided a total of Rs 1.36 lakh to the families. All 68 houses of the locality were gutted in a fire on March 29.
