Help sought

KATHMANDU: Dhurba Acharya, the treasurer of the Environment Conservation Initiative-Nepal, a community-based organisation working in the field of environment conservation, is awaiting a Good Samaritan who could help him get proper treatment for acute pneumonia he has been suffering from. A ventilator now supports Acharya, who is undergoing treatment in the Kathmandu Model Hospital, and doctors have said it would take a few days before he could be able to breathe easily on his own. The cost for his treatment is very high and, therefore, the ECI requests support of everyone for his treatment, a statement by the ECI said on Friday. Anyone wanting to help could call the ECI office at 4464898 or Devraj Dangal at 9841327798. — HNS
