BHAIRAHAWA: Hundreds of opposition party cadres and supporters took part in a protest rally that started from Buddhachowk and traversed through Narayansthan, Awarodchowk and Police Tole before concluding in a corner meeting at Maitripath. Speakers talked about various controversial issues and decisions of the federal and provincial governments. Similarly, protest meetings were also held inTaulihawa, Tansen, Paschim  Parasi, Tamghas, Tulsipur and Nepalgunj. Likewise, Morang, Sunsari,  Dhankuta, Panchthar, Udayapur also witnessed protest meetings of the  opposition on Sunday. In Phidim, NC district president Narendra Kerung and others criticised the government for its unpopular and undemocratic decisions and pointed out the need of an agitation. Protest meetings were also held in all nine districts in the Far-west Province.
