KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Wednesday filed a charge-sheet against Bholanath Chalise at the Special Court for his alleged involvement in corruption. Chalise, a non-gazetted first class officer of Kathmandu District Court was held with Rs 500,000 bribe he received from a service-seeker on January 31. He had received the bribe amount from the service-seeker, promising to ease punishment in a vehicular homicide case sub judice at KDC. The anti-graft body has sought maximum punishment for Chalise under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
