POKHARA: Kaski police on Monday arrested a couple from Parsyang, Pokhara-5 on charges of printing and circulating fake currency. The arrestees -- Naresh Lama (32) and his wife Saraswati Balami (25) of Hetauda, Makanwanpur -- were nabbed from an apartment they rented in possession of 19 counterfeit banknotes of Rs 1,000 denomination. In the raid, police recovered a colour printer, laptop, mobile top-up cards of Nepal Telecom and Ncell worth Rs 90,000 and two fake Indian banknotes of IRs 500.
