POKHARA: A Romanian national lost his life after he plunged into Phewa Lake unable to stir down his paraglide into a safe landing zone in Pokhara on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Ebe Chis Jer from Romania. Chis Jer who was seriously injured in the incident was recused by local boatmen and rushed to Metrocity Hospital but he was declared dead by doctors upon arrival. Preliminary investigation suggests that Jer lost control of his glider while in the air and fell straight in Phewa Lake, said police officials. Jer was an experienced paraglider who often visited Pokhara to enjoy solo flights.
