KATHMANDU: Demanding that the report submitted by Girish Chandra Lal-led probe committee should be made public, the Rashtriya Janata Party- Nepal has obstructed proceedings of the House of Representatives, today. Lawmakers from the party obstructed the House as soon as the Speaker announced commencement of the day's meeting. The Speaker then allotted time to Member of Parliament Raj Kishor Yadav to address the house. Yadav stated that the party will not allow regular business for as long as the probe-commission's report is not made public. In 2016. former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's government had formed the commission to investigate into the killings and violent incidents that took place during protests in the Tarai. The commission had begun its investigation on October 17, 2016. The probe commission submitted its report to erstwhile Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who succeeded Dahal, on December 15.
