Fire breaks out at Hulas Steel Industries

BARA: Fire broke out at Simara-based Hulas Steel Industries in Jitpur-Simara Sub Metropolitan City-1 of Bara district, on Saturday afternoon. The fire started at 12:15 pm at the area where scraps of the factory are stored. Police said, the fire began from a spark that was generated while breaking down iron with the use of gas. It was brought under control after around 45 minutes with the help of personnel from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, workers at the industry, and fire-brigades of Jitpur-Simara Submetropolis and Nepal Oil Corporation. Details of the damage are in the process of being determined, said Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Simara, Subas Hamal.
