Tanahun, March 23 Work related to construction of a cable car service linking Tanahun’s Bandipur has picked pace of late. According to Bandipur Cable Car Pvt Ltd chairperson Taranath Upadhyaya, in the initial stage work related to soil testing for the facility will be over by mid-April. “As for the cable car service, a building will be constructed in five ropani area at the cost of Rs 450 million,” said Upadhyaya. The cable car service will be developed in partnership with various companies including RKD Real Estate and Construction Limited, Panchase Cable Car and Tours Limited, Tourism Investment Fund, Bandipur Rural Municipality and the local community. “There will be a commercial complex which will have a hotel, besides a view tower, banquet and other attractions,” said RKD Real Estate Construction Limited chairperson Ramchandra Sharma. The cable car service will begin by this time next year.
