KATHMANDU: The windstorm that rattled different villages in Bara and Parsa districts on Sunday night has damaged more than 1,900 houses (fully or partially), as per the Ministry of Urban Development. As per the preliminary data received by the MoUD, the disaster has damaged around 1,502 houses in Bara and 400 houses in Parsa. “We are yet to collect the final data on the destruction of houses,” said Krishna Prasad Dawadi, joint-secretary at MoUD.
