Four abandoned muzzle-loader guns found in Taplejung

PANCHTHAR: Police found four abandoned muzzle-loader guns in various locations of Taplejung district on Tuesday. A team of police deployed from Siwa-based Police Post found two muzzle-loader guns abandoned in a cave in Lingkhim of Phaktalung Rural Municipality-3 of the district. Similarly, a team of police deployed from Phulbari Police Post found a gun from a cave in Phulbari of Aathrai Triveni Rural Municipality-2 and another team from Hangpang Police Post found a gun from Sobuda Forest. Meanwhile, according to Taplejung District Police Office, two guns were surrendered by Tuk Bahadur Gurung of Nangkholeng Chhipchhipe in Pathibhara, Yangwarak Rural Municipality-1 surrendered two guns to the Mewakhama Police Post. Further investigation is underway, informed police.
