KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) captain Robin Khatri was handed a three-match ban on Thursday for unsportsmanlike conduct. Nepal Basketball Association and Nepal Basketball League banned a total of seven players and officials including Khatri. Following the cancellation of the league matches for the second day in a row after referees raised concerns over their security, the association and league were forced to take action, one of the Nepal Basketball League organisers said. Thursday's match between TAC and Times International Club was disturbed multiple times following undesirable reactions including aggression from TAC supporters and team members. It was reported that the TAC supporters further attempted to manhandle the referees accusing them of biased judgement after Times won the match 103-96.
