Indian woman collapses on way to Muktinath, dies in hospital

POKHARA: An elderly Indian woman, who fell unconscious while travelling in a bus to Muktinath, has died during the course of treatment at a Pokhara-based health facility on Monday. According to Province 4 Police Office, Banglore native 65-year-old L Chudamani breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, today. The woman suddenly fell unconscious at Upper Ghasa in Thasang Rural Municipality-4 along Beni-Jomsom road section, police shared. The bus (Na 6 Kha 1272) was en route to Muktinath in Mustang district from Pokhara of Kaski district. From there, the woman was rescued and transported to Pokhara for treatment, police added. Meanwhile, further investigation is underway.
