Kathmandu, April 27:

Stating that the RNA personnel killed six innocent civilians and injured some 60 people following the gangrape and murder of a Gurung woman, the Gurung community’s student body has demanded the RNA be disbanded and a Nepal National Army be set up.

“Such crimes need permanent treatment. For this, the RNA should be disbanded to form a Nepal National Army,” Dil Gurung, president, Council House of Tamu Students, said a release.

Seeking compensation to family members of those killed and treatment to the injured, Gurung demanded that the guilty be punished.
