KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Ltd has signed an agreement with UKaid- Sakchyam - Access to Finance Programme for ‘Restructuring of SME vertical to achieve bank’s focused target on SME banking’. The partnership was officially announced by signing and exchanging of agreement certificates between Shambhu Nath Gautam, chief executive officer of Siddhartha Bank Ltd, and Nirmal Dahal, team leader of Sakchyam, amidst the media and senior management of both the organisations, as per a media release. The partnership aims to cater to the financing needs of SMEs — particularly the ‘missing middle’ — across the country through innovative and sustainable approach. This collaboration aims to facilitate people with low income to meet their financing needs and promote entrepreneurship.
