Pokhara, July 16 Bindabasini Religious Area Development Committee has decided to establish a natural hospital in Pokhara. The hospital will be built on 21 ropani guthi land belonging to the temple at Guthibari of Adhikari Tole in Pokhara. At a programme today, Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Man Bahadur GC laid the foundation stone of Bindabasini Natural Hospital. The hospital envisioned with 100 beds will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 150 million in the first phase. The hospital received Rs 20 million from various individuals and organisations today itself, said Committee Secretary Tirtha Shrestha. In the second phase, the investment will be increased to Rs 260 million and hospital beds will be increased to 300. Mayor GC expressed hope that the hospital would provide quality service at affordable cost to the people. The committee has been operating Elderly Civic Day Service Centre, Gurukul Bidhyapeeth and an ambulance service at Bindabasini area. The committee has brought an electric lift into operation for the elderly and physically challenged people wishing to offer puja at the temple.
