Nepathya releases music video for 'Rato Ra Chandra Surya'

KATHMANDU: Nepal's famous rock-folk band, Nepathya, has released a music video for 'Rato Ra Chandra Surya', on Tuesday. The song was lyricist by Gopal Prasad Rimal, during the time of Rana 'rule' as Kaljaye poem, composed by renowned singer and musician Amber Gurung. Later, late singer Fateman Raj Bhandari and Amber Gurung had recorded this song in Radio Nepal. According to Nepathaya's lead singer Amrit Gurung, we have been singing this song in every concert since 2002. After getting patent rights from Ambar Gurung, Nepathya had incorporated this song in their album called 'Mero Desh.' 'We are very pleased that a music video is being made for this song,' Nepathya's lead singer and social activist Amrit Gurung shared. Nepathya is celebrating its 25-year-long musical journey and on the occasion, it is releasing the music video of old songs.
