Rajbiraj, September 5 Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Lalbabu Pandit has warned that civil servants who don’t report to their assigned duty stations within three weeks would lose their jobs. Speaking at a programme on the premises of Sarbodaya Secondary School in Kanchanrup Municipality, Saptari,  to declare the municipality child-friendly today, the minister said government employees wouldn’t receive salaries and perks they are entitled to until they reported to their assigned duty stations. “Anyone who keeps defying the government order to officiate from their assigned place and doesn’t report there within 3 weeks will witness the process of removing them from their jobs,” he said. Minister Yadav scoffed at the agitation over the vacancy announcements made by Public Service Commission and accused those in the frontline of the agitation of misleading the general public. Yet on a different note, Pandit claimed that the government was all committed to changing the face of the country. “The communist government is doing all it can to ensure prosperity and development,” he said. Declaring Kanchanrup Municipality a child- friendly local body, he urged others to learn from Kanchanrup, which has now become the first ever child-friendly municipality in the province.
