Ramechhap, September 6 Police destroyed marijuana plants at Choprang of Khandadevi Rural Municipality-4, in Ramechhap district today. A team of police personnel deployed from Choprang Police Post destroyed as many as 1,500 marijuana plants. Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Bhattarai said police had launched a campaign to destroy the wild marijuana plants as youths had become addicted to the drug. Shivalaya Police Post destroyed around 400 wild marijuana plants at Garjang of Gokulganga Rural Municipality-1 in Ramechhap, on Thursday.
