Philips Electronics unveils World Cup consumer deal

Kathmandu, May 8 :
Syakar Company Ltd, the authorised distributor of Philips Electronics in Nepal, has unveiled the 2006 FIFA World Cup consumer scheme.
Philips is an Official Partner of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany. This is Philips’ sixth sponsorship of the world’s biggest soccer event. Saurabh Jyoti, general manager of Syakar Company today said that the consumers would get 10 per cent cash discount on every purchase of each Philips product worth above Rs 6,000 and FIFA world cup premium gifts. The premium gifts include FIFA World Cup emblem marked T-shirts, pen and sports bag. The scheme will last till July 10. Philips is also offering its products on installment basis at zero per cent interest rate. Cash discount is not available on installment purchase and exchange with old ones.
“The 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany is a great platform to demonstrate our new brand positioning,” said Jyoti.
