KATHMANDU: Sabita Shrestha, Chitwan district reporter of Nagarik News, has bagged the National Investigative Journalism Fellowship Award, on Tuesday. Issuing a press statement today, Sharecast Initiative Nepal said, Shrestha has been rewarded for her investigative reporting on local level government's struggle in formulating laws. US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry awarded Shrestha with Rs 200,000 and a certificate amid a special programme at the Himalaya Hotel in Lalitpur today. Sharecast Initiative Nepal in collaboration with the US Embassy has been awarding the National Investigative Journalism Fellowship Award to investigative journalists since last year.
