BANKE: As many as six persons including a leader of Tarun Dal, the youth wing affiliated with Nepali Congress(NC), have been arrested along with an automatic pistol and two magazines from Janaki Rural municipality-6 in Banke district. The arrestees have been identified as Sandip Jung Shah, Nepalgunj town president of Tarun Dal, Dinesh Shahi, Raghab Shah Sanu, Madhav Nepali, Jaya Bahadur Buda and Pritam Thapa Magar. A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hem Bahadur Shahi from the Area Police Office, Kohalpur, on Thursday night raided Namaste resort at Ganapur and apprehended the culprits. The firearms were hidden in a false bottom in a Maruti Suzuki car (Ba 18 Cha 4211) parked to the east of the resort, said Shahi. Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
