Nepathya releases music video for 'Sirma Pachhyauri'

KATHMANDU: Nepal's famous rock-folk band, Nepathya, has released a music video for 'Sirma Ribbon Saalko Pachhyauri', on Sunday. The song which expresses the suffering of a woman in Lamjung district is the latest composition by the band. 'I have heard this kind of tune from my mother while I was growing up in Pokhara,' social activist and legendary singer Amrit Gurung added. 'I still remember my mother humming this Lamjung rhythm. I was touched by the tune after hearing a song from one female singer when I visited Pasgaun in Lamjung, after many years,' Nepathya lead singer Amrit Gurung recalls his memories.
