SAARC tourism ministers to discuss air links

Dhaka, May 19:
SAARC tourism ministers will meet in Bangladesh Sunday to discuss ways to encourage private sector participation in tourism infrastructure in the South Asian region, including direct air, road and rail links.
To meet at Cox’s Bazaar, the premier tourist destination in southeastern Bang-ladesh, the ministers will also discuss joint investment, marketing and sales promotion and developing religious and eco-tourism, the Daily Star newspaper reported. Prime Minister Khaleda Zia will inaugurate the meeting.
