Attorney-general Sushil Kumar Pant today spoke of the need to teach the law students about the justice delivery system. 'Without knowing the court language, one cannot be a perfect lawyer and cannot help people get justice,' Panta said. Pant made these remarks while inaugurating a moot-court room and library of the Kathmandu School of Law in Bhaktapur.
'Those who have been working in private companies as legal experts are also lawyers and they also need to know about the court language.' Justice Krishna Kumar Barma also stressed the need to provide practical education to the students. 'A student cannot became a perfect lawyer without practical knowledge,' he said. The moot court room and the library were dedicated to late legal experts Dev Nath Barma and Lava Dev Bhatta.
