Sheep farming gains popularity

Ghalegaun, May 27 :
Ghalegaun, a famous tourism spot in Lamjung district and the second important tourism village, has developed commercial sheep farming in the village. The sheep farm in the VDC, which was started with only Rs 250,000, has now a capital of two million rupees.
The farm sells wool, meat, milk, ghee and fertilizer. From the income of the farm three shepherds and a teacher is paid Rs 2,000 salary per month, said Prem Ghale, ex-chairman of the VDC. The farm has 500 sheep.
