KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday underwent coronary angiography at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre, Maharajgunj. “It is PM’s routine health check-up. We performed coronary angiography on him,” said Dr Arun Sayami, senior cardiologist at the centre. “A coronary angiography is a procedure that uses X-ray imaging to see the heart’s blood vessels. The test is generally done to see if there’s a restriction in blood flow going to the heart,” said Dr Sayami. He added that the PM’s health reports were normal.
