Arbour iterates offer of help to Nepal

Kathmandu, June 21 :
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, K P Sharma Oli, yesterday met with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour and State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Norway Raymond Johansen on the sidelines of the first meeting of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC).
A press statement by the Nepalese Permanent Mission in Geneva said they discussed the preparations for the Constituent Assembly election, ceasefire, peace process, the code of conduct and its monitoring. Oli called for strengthening the newly-created Human Rights Council and enhanced levels of bilateral assistance. Norway has assured all necessary help for re-establishment of peace.
