Ordinance is undemocratic, says Deuba

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and main opposition party Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his disagreement over the ordinance issued by the government relating to the Constitutional Council. NC leader, who is also a member of the council, said it was undemocratic act of the government to introduce the ordinance by evading the parliament session. 'NC was against this unconstitutional move and would not attend the council,' leader Deuba clarified. Leader of main opposition Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba and Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Sapkota did not attend the meeting.
