KATHMANDU: Democratic Lawyers Association (DLA) has opposed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's act to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR) on Sunday. DLA's Secretary-General, Laxmi Dahal, in a press release, stated that the move was unconstitutional and against the mandate that was in the interest of political stability and prosperity in the country. It also stated that the incumbent government had pushed the mid-term elections at a time of COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the Association has appealed one and all to make concrete and result-oriented efforts to protect the constitution.
