3 more Nepalis die of COVID-19 abroad

KATHMANDU: Three more Nepalis living abroad succumbed to the COVID-19 infection in past one week. According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association, two persons died in Portugal while another succumbed to infection in the United Kingdom. As many as 53,385 Nepalis living across 50 different nations have contracted the transmission so far, informed NRNa health committee coordinator Sanjib Sapkota. 'Over 95 per cent of people, who were infected with the virus, have recovered from the illness.' Chiran Sharma, press coordinator of the NRNA COVID-19 High Level Committee, said the infections were reported among Nepalis living in Spain, Poland, Japan, middle-east countries.
