PARSA, JANUARY 12 The Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has said that all democratic forces should unite to safeguard federalism and republicanism. At a press conference organised by Federal Press Forum, Birgunj, Parsa, today, Yadav said that all democratic forces should stand together to take the country out from the current political deadlock as risk of losing all the achievements such as federalism and the republic had increased due to the unconstitutional move of the government. Expressing confidence that the Supreme Court would give a verdict in favour of democrats and the HoR would be reinstated, he added that elections would not be held on the stated date. Yadav further said that it was necessary to find a way out to end the deadlock created after the dissolution of the HoR. Responding to a query, he said all problems seen between Nepal and India should be resolved through discussion and talks. Similarly, member of the central executive committee of the party, Laxman Lal Karna, said that there was no doubt that the SC would reinstate the HoR as the SC had always given verdict in favour of democracy and people.
