RBB connects with digital wallets

KATHMANDU: Four digital wallet companies have connected with the Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) for all kinds of governmental payments, including taxes. Consumers that have to make payments to the government via RBB can use the digital wallets — Khalti, IME Pay, Prabhu Pay and Nepal Pay. On behalf of RBB CEO Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Debesh Prasad Lohani, deputy chief executive officer of the bank, signed an agreement with the digital wallet companies on Friday. According to the agreement, one can make payment of value added tax, asset tax, business tax or any other service charges via mobile banking of the aforesaid digital wallets.
