Chambers to protest

Kathmandu: All the district and municipal chambers in the Bagmati zone have warned that they would launch a series of protest programmes against the government’s recent decisions to annul chamber’s recommendation for private firm registration. They organised a zonal conference in Bhaktapur on Sunday. The conference has criticised the recent decision to annul a provision of ‘no need of recommendation from district or municipal chambers while registering a new firm or renewing it by the department of commerce and its offices’. “This will increase the distance between private sector and the government as well as create mistrust among us,” states a press release.
