SARLAHI: A gang of dacoits looted property worth about Rs 8.82 lakhs from 22 houses located at ward numbers 2,3,4 and 5 of Rohuwa VDC, Sarlahi, on Sunday night, police said. Threatening us, the dacoits looted our property, said Suresh Kumar Shah, a victim. The dacoits struck at 11: 30 pm on Sunday night and continued looting houses till 3: 15 am. The lotted village lies at a distance of 5 km from the Gadhaiya police post. After looting the property, they fled towards the Bagmati canal, an eyewitness, Bhagelu Shah, said.
