Surkhet, August 7:
A building of a Butigaon Primary School at Pokharikanda VDC in Surkhet, constructed two months ago, is on the verge of collapse.
The badly cracked one-roomed building, constructed under the initiation of the school management committee and financial support of social awareness centre, is going to collapse soon,” said Krishna Bahadur Khadka, chairman of school guardians’ union.
“The construction committee should take responsibility of the building,” said Ram Bahadur BC, chairman of school management committee. Dan Bahadur Thapa Magar, chairman of the construction committee said: “This building was constructed without the help of any technicians. So, we will not be responsible.”
