A weeklong trainers training programme under the HIV/AIDS awareness enhancement programme organised by Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS), Bhaktapur began here on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the training, NRCS Bhaktapur president Balmukunda Suwal emphasised the need to carry out awareness enhancement programme from the school level in order to control and check the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Chief of NRCS, HIV/AIDS programme Indra Prasad Adhikari said the junior and youth Red Cross should work to create awareness and consciousness in the society.

Convenor of NRCS, junior youth circle Krishna Gopal Lagaju presided.
