Bimal Devkota, a mechanical trainer of the technical school of Lahan and a resident of Gorkha, Aanptar was caught red-handed raping an eight-year-old child of an employee at the school.

The screams of the poor victim were heard , at seven on Wednesday morning by a ten-year-old boy who was playing outside who walked into the room and witnessed the barbaric act. The boy’s shouts saw the nearby people gather at the site and help save the life of the girl.

The irate parents and neighbours gave a sound thrashing to the rapist.

A police inspector informed reporters that a case has already been filed. The accused Devkota who had fled from the spot was later arrested, informed an inspector at the area police office Lahan .
