KATHMANDU:

Unilever Nepal Limited announced the names of the three winners of Sunsilk Hair Style Contest on August 17. Out of 255 photo entries received, Sindhu Karmacharya, hair stylist and beauty therapist of Hair and Beauty Clinic, and MC Johnson of Habib’s Hair and Saloon, gave Sudan Gurung, Pushpa Gurung and Samugdha Rayamajhi the first, second and third positions respectively.

The winners will each receive Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively, and 50 other contestants will get Sunsilk gift hampers as consolation prizes. The winners were selected on the basis of their attractive hairstyles.

All 255 photographs displaying stunning hairstyles were on display at the function.

With an aim of associating Sunsilk shampoo with hair glamour and beauty, the contest was announced on July 1 in which participants had to send 4”X 6” size photograph within 45 days. The company had also made provisions for free photo shoots at different locations for the convenience of contestants. The contest was open to people of all ages .
