Cadres of the CPN-Maoist and the JTMM traded fire at Itatar VDC-8 and 9 in Siraha today. No casualty has been reported. After the clash, Maoists abducted JTMM activist Ram Bilas Yadav, alleged JTMM Siraha in-charge Shyam, adding, “ Maoists launched an attack while JTMM was staging a programme.”

However, Maoists’ Siraha secretary, Avinash, said: “We retaliated the JTMM attack.”
