KATHMANDU: The professional women journalists’ forum apprised the Minister of State for Information and Communications Dilendra Prasad Badu about the problems faced by women journalists. The forum submitted a memorandum to Badu for the rights of the women journalists. Chairperson of the forum Sangita Lama demanded programmes to increase the participation of women in journalism. The forum called for representation in the Media Commission, Press Council and other media.
