KATHMANDU: A condolence meeting was held on the premises of New Era, an NGO, on Friday to condole the death of its founding chairman Dr Harka Gurung. Dr Gurung died in a helicopter crash in Taplejung on September 23. Dr Gurung’s colleagues Dr Mohmad Mohsin and Dr Bekh Bahadur Thapa recalled Gurung’s contribution to the country. Dr Bal Gopal Baidhya, founding member of New Era, shed light on Gurung’s “monumental contribution” to the development of the country.
