MAHENDRANAGAR: A migrant worker, who was returning home from India, was injured when an unidentified gang resorted to firing at Kanchanpur’s Mahendranagar Gaddachowki road section at 8:30 pm on Tuesday. Dal Bahadur BK, 40, a resident of Bardiya Deudkala-3, was stopped by two unidentified persons who came on a motorcycle and shot at him, the victim told the police. He was admitted to Mahakali zonal hospital, but later referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment. However, he could not go to Nepalgunj due to lack of money. Dr Pramod Kumar Raya said BK’s condition is critical.
