Gen-Cool:

Letters are never thought of

Telephones are said to have become old.

E-mail, Internet fast growing Dad and Mom are famous. Wearing daura-suruwal

Is worse than staying bare. Amardip has become Aman. While Sandip says

Sunny is cool

Having a girlfriend is cool

That’s the reason why

they’re called

The Cool New Generation.

Our story:

Life is short

Try to put in more effort

Life is hard

Make it a beautiful card

Life is a story. Full of mystery

Life is like an ice-cream

Melting forever like our dream Life should be made of happiness

Try to avoid selfishness.

— Samiksha Shrestha, Class IX, Rosebud School, Kathmandu

Tiger in the cage:

As I moved around the cage,

The tiger roared with rage.

It stared at me, I stared at it

And my tongue I bit.

As I climbed the ladder to get a closer look,

With fear in me my body shook.

The cage was big, the cage was high

The tiger was as still as a mighty rock.

Then around the cage it started to prowl

Each second giving a low growl.

I looked into its eyes black and white

The stripes on its body were quite a sight.

The tiger was big in size

I wonder whether it was a lion in disguise.

The soft pad thumped,

The long claws bunched

Against the cage and once

Again the tiger roared with rage.
