Hunger strike for polls

KATHMANDU: Seeking the announcement of date for the constituent assembly poll, nine followers of Manokranti Campaign, a movement for self-transformation, today began a fast-unto-death at Ganesh Man Shanti Vatika in Ratnapark. “Our strike is not political but is driven by social cause. It is a bid to exert moral pressure on the government to announce CA poll date,” said the coordinator of the strike. — HNS
